• Cost Monitoring & Analysis:
• Track and analyze direct and indirect manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads.
• Record cost transactions accurately in Odoo ERP and monitor variances between actual and standard costs.
• Investigate discrepancies in cost reports and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Costing Support for Manufacturing Operations:
• Ensure accurate allocation of manufacturing costs to the correct product lines.
• Analyze production costs for efficiency, identify areas of cost savings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for manufacturing departments.
• Provide detailed cost information and analysis to support financial planning and strategy.
• Odoo ERP Reporting & Management:
• Generate and manage cost-related reports, including cost of goods sold (COGS), production variances, and profitability analysis using Odoo ERP.
• Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Odoo to provide real-time cost insights to the management team.
• Ensure the Odoo system is accurately updated with cost information for efficient reporting.
• Inventory & Material Costing:
• Monitor and control inventory levels and material costs, ensuring accurate valuation in Odoo.
• Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to optimize material usage and minimize waste.
• Month-End & Year-End Closures:
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including stock reconciliations and preparation of cost-related reports for audit purposes.
• Reconcile cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and finance, to ensure cost efficiency.
• Support the Costing Manager in the implementation of cost-control policies and procedures across the organization. 

• Process Improvement:
• Recommend improvements in costing methodologies, process automation, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure continuous enhancement of Odoo’s costing module for increased accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (CMA) is a plus.
• Experience: 5–7 years of experience as a cost controller, mandatory within a manufacturing environment.
• ERP Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Preferable).

• Proficient in financial analysis, cost reporting, and budgeting.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and cost accounting principles.
• Ability to generate detailed financial reports and provide actionable recommendations.
